Internet generation in education
It's international week in our school at Tampere. Time to learn from great minds from abroad, while waiting upcoming TAF at weekend.

Teaching and learning with internet generation. Will teachers will be obsolete within few years?
Students viewpoint:
New generations driven by internet based information and motivation: "Google it"
Steps to knowledge of "Digital student":
Trial and error
Friedship-driven and intrest-driven online activity
FEED BACK! -driven motivation.
! Interest driven activity will not be the habit/activity of everyone !
What will happen to education of the people who are not internet centered or who's internet usage is not driven by focused interests... Already we have seen that active use of internet is not habit for everyone. (Do we in media education business need to even care?)

- Power comes from sharing information, not hoarding it
Future:
- Within 30 years we will be downloading information directly into our brains (Wild!)
- Informal learning: student decides what to learn
- Empty buildings: education will not be driven by institutions
- Education/teacher centered institution will change into guiding instead of teaching
- Students have already very capitalistic attitude: "Why we need to do this? What do i get for my time/money?"
Managing creative groups at the age of Internet?
Key factor: Guidance = "management"
Want to be effective in creative proses? = Key is: visualize, write, make real marks about your work
Competition makes creative proses dynamic and stabile.
